A brand new full size high performance intercooler made the well known AlliSport.
Improved core design with improved flow characteristics and redesigned “Bi-Fold” end tanks for extra strength. The latest design is not only stronger but flows better as well as looking smarter!
Designed to replace the original much smaller intercooler on the Land Rover Defender Puma 2.2 TDCi fitted with Air Conditioning. (This Intercooler kit now fits both Air Con or non-Air Con vehicles).
This intercooler is over twice the size of the original Land Rover item!
This highly efficient product is designed and manufactured by AlliSport and comes ready to fit utilising the original pipe work and mounting brackets.
There are no modifications to the vehicle required to fit this kit!
Constructed using ultra efficient vacuum brazed core design with internal “turbulators” to increase cooling capacity. CNC stamp cut for quality and consistency and fully TIG welded by hand all in house.
The increased cooling capacity together with the appropriate electronic tuning can allow performance to be increased to over 170BHP with an improvement in fuel economy.
Fuel economy increaces by, on average 10% with a reduction in cylinder head thermal stress. Thermal stress is actually reduced as the EGT or combustion temperature is reduced dramatically. In order to get the best from this upgrade the fuelling needs optimising to suit.
